Where Do I Find the Proper Inflation for My Tires?
The vehicle manufacturer specifies the correct inflation pressure for your original equipment tires (this also applies to aftermarket tires of the same size and type). You can find this information in several places:
In your vehicle’s owner's manual
Inside the glove box or center armrest compartment
On the placard located on the edge of the driver’s or front passenger’s door frame
On the vehicle’s fuel door
How Often Should I Check My Tire Inflation Pressure?
Check your tire pressure at least once a month and before long trips when your tires are cool (after the vehicle has been stopped for 3 hours and driven less than one mile).
Use an accurate tire gauge to measure and maintain pressure at the level recommended by the manufacturer.
Don’t forget to check the spare tire, whether standard size or temporary. (Temporary spares require higher pressure.)
⚠️ Remember: Underinflation is the most common cause of sudden air loss or unexpected tire failures.
Switching from Passenger to LT Tires
Some vehicles may have LT-metric (Light Truck) size tires installed, even though the vehicle was originally designed for P-metric (Passenger) tires.

REMEMBER:
Proper inflation is the single most important aspect of tire care.
Underinflation is the #1 cause of tire failure.
